Things I don’t like about Christmas:

- mince pies
- pressure to have the perfect Christmas, whatever that is
- missing friends and family who are far away
- queues of people doing a panic shop at the supermarket on Christmas Eve, which always includes me

Things I love about Christmas:

- creating our own family traditions
- non-stop grazing on delicious food
- watching my children play quietly (well, quietish) and happily for what feels like hours with all their new things
- real Christmas trees, fairy lights and candles everywhere you look
