Over breakfast this morning:
Me: Did you do any drawing at nursery yesterday?
Sun: (sighs) No, I just don’t like sitting down all the time, it’s too boring. I miss out on playing and I have to play.
Me: Oh, ok then.
…a minute goes by…
Sun: I’ll see what I can do today, hey. I’ll see. I’m not promising any though.
He makes me laugh, especially when I hear myself or Bird repeated right back at me. Children make excellent mirrors don’t they?!
