You’ve got a list as long as your arm of projects and plans. Things you want to do when you don’t have work or chores calling your name.
Crochet projects to finish, new ones to plan, yarn to buy, patterns to fathom. Home office space to decorate so you don’t have to work looking at a blank wall. New blog headers to make.
Then you discover you’ve got 2 hours. Right now. Go.
You were planning on taking a certain little lady for a swim but as she clambers onto your lap leaving a snot trail as she goes you realise this is no longer the plan.
So what to do with this unscheduled window of loveliness?
You dither and feel crippled with indecision over what to start or finish. You’re beginning to feel mildly anxious that you’re losing precious minutes. Each project and plan is whispering, pick me, pick me. How to choose?
Instead you pick up your girl and go outside and admire the hydrangeas, marvelling at their fleeting beauty. Everything else can wait.
Have just noticed it’s that time of week over chez Mammasaurus to check out other people’s gardens. Go look at her stunning Sicilian pics and daydream of succulents.
