First day of school for Sun yesterday and I’ve wittered on enough about the big day so today’s post I promise few words, many pics.
The photo above was HARD to get. Not technically, that wasn’t the problem. The problem lay with the subject.
“Come outside so I can take a photo, Sun”
“Please”
“Pretty please”
“Stand still, no one’s watching, I’ll be quick”
“Smile?”
Let the school journey begin!

I’m joining in with The Gallery this week with the lovely Tara, where the theme is of course Back to School! She has some wise words for blubberers like me. Go read. And check out other little kids who actually comply when asked to smile for the camera.
Gorgeous pictures with a lovely glowing, autumnal haze. I’ll be attempting the same in a week or so and anticipate a similar challenge! Must try the ‘jumping’ idea! x
Distraction is the way forward. Good luck! With the day and the pics 🙂
Gorgeous — your subject(s) and the light. My daughter behaves similarly when I ask for a pic. I need to be sneaky with that one.
I’m going to need new tactics as he gets wise to my photo attempts. Hope your girl is enjoying the new school year x
Lovely pictures (even if he was a bit reluctant) – hope he had a great day.
Thank you, he had a ball. Long may it last!
Aww a lovely set of pictures, pretty much went through the same with my little girl yesterday 🙂 x
Thanks. They’re little monkeys sometimes, mine are!
Haha he is sooo cute. He reminds me a lot of my son, I’m sure he is going to do things like that when he’s a bit older!
