This autumn has been a blur. I saw the leaves turning and felt the need to get a scarf out and change coats to combat the chill, but I’ve been away, been contemplating, been working, been looking after poorly children, been planning birthday parties, been preparing for the C-word…
If I don’t whip my phone out of my pocket and snap pics as I walk with Shine and we spin through the park as the leaves fall around us…if I wait for a day to go out with SLR on my own and appreciate every vein of every leaf and capture every glint of glorious late afternoon autumn light…I’ll have no photos at all.
That’s the nature of life though isn’t it. Sometimes everything’s a bit of a blur and you speak in really long babbly sentences to cram in as much as you can because you feel so utterly busy.
Tomorrow I WILL stop and take a moment and take a photo that isn’t a blur.
Joining in with the lovely Tara at Sticky Fingers as the theme this week in The Photo Gallery is nature.
Love this post! And I can totally identify with the feeling of autumn passing in a blur. You´ve captured it perfectly in both words and image.
aw, thank you for your kind words x
Lovely post. Very philosophical and I like it.
Thanks 🙂 xxx
We have loved autumn, and the days have been a blur of wonderful activity, but I have stopped to take photo of the glorious colours around me, I just had to! Lovely post – and I love that photo!
Thank you, glad you did stop to take pics of autumn too 🙂 x
yes, definitely agree with first comment, you’ve capture it brilliantly in both words and image – just love that photo!
Thanks lady x
You have summed up this time of year perfectly!
Thanks. Always comes as such a shock after long, lazy summertimes doesn’t it.
It looks like a leaf tornado. So brilliant.
Boo Kitty Boo XXX
Thanks for stopping by 🙂 x
It’s been a bit of a blur here too sadly – promising myself more time to stop and enjoy next week x
We must make time! Xxx
This is a really lovely photo and post, sums up how life can be sometimes
Thanks. Very much looking forward to things slowing down a little when Christmas comes 🙂
Great post. I really like the picture. Which came first the picture of the words?
The pic came first but as soon as I snapped it I thought, how apt…and it started me thinking of the words. Do you write drafts in your head too while doing other things? I love your posts.
I love your picture. Autumn always passes by here so quickly, somehow it’s summer and then winter and my heads in a spin wondering where time went.
Crafts help children learn as well as help them develop important
social skills that will set them up for life. From what I’ve seen and read, that won’t happen
when using totes for arts & crafts. You can place this on top of the
diaper cake if you like or a diaper doll can even
be a unique gift on its own.
