Since doing the Crochet Camp over the summer and falling for the hook hard, I’ve been pootling away at crocheting granny squares, slowly adding a few stitches to my crochet bag of tricks. More like a very small clutch of crochet tricks actually as it’s pretty sparse.
Anyway, I decided a couple of weeks ago it was Time. The time had come to take off the stabilisers of the Crochet Camp and try something a bit more tricky. I found a pattern for a snuggly snoodhood on Etsy that professed to be easy and set off to the yarn shop excited to part with large sums of money in order to better myself…and make Shine look cute this winter.
It certainly was a challenge, and one I wouldn’t have completed without my local stich n bitch crew’s help, but I did it. Can you tell I’m just the weensiest bit proud? Bragging over, I’ve leave you with cute pics galore. Bring on the next challenge!
In case you’re wondering, this is the pattern I used from daisiescrochet on Etsy.
You horribly skilled thing, you! Congratulations.
I love it! Fantastic job!
This is wonderful! It looks so warm and cosy!
