Sun pretends to brush Shine’s nose, knees, ears, fingers, as she cackles and dribbles toothpaste everywhere.
Shine tickles Sun before she’s even got the brush into his mouth, he’s so ticklish. He has to compose himself before letting her swish the bristles on the inside of his mouth.
We’ve been running into Sun’s class as the register is being called most mornings since school went back because I let them linger longer than I should, enjoying each other’s company. Their laughter is the best way to stop me shouting at them to hurry up, hurry up, hurry up.
