It’s been lovely watching the garden wake up after a long winter slumber. The first of the alliums that I planted last autumn have already bloomed and are starting to fade, while some slowcoaches are still making an appearance.
I took these photos a few days ago and despite it feeling like all it’s done since is rain and storm, some of these strawberries have ripened. I have to get to them really quickly as the squirrels are on the case and they have a tendency to beat me to it. Lucky squirrels! Time to start going into the garden every day on a strawberry hunt so we don’t miss them altogether. I’ll get the Pimms to hand, bring on the sunshine!
